sea buckthorn oil

Is sea buckthorn oil really one of the best allies to moisturize skin and mucous membranes?

The answer is an all-round, yes. Talking about oils for skin may seem like a contradiction, however it is not, since the properties of oils can bring great benefits to our dermis and become the ultimate solution to look healthy and beautiful. For some time now we are spreading the awareness about the goodness of oils treating the skin and mucous membranes, and more specifically sea buckthorn oil, is one of our favourites.

Why consume sea buckthorn oil?

The  berries of this shrub provide us with a high content of Omega 7, and how does this benefit our skin? Well, palmitoleic acid, or known as, Omega 7, is a fatty acid containing large amounts of Vitamin C (more than oranges, for example). It is also rich in Vitamin A, E, BQ and K, contains iron, potassium and works as an antioxidant, combating cell anti-aging.

Sea buckthorn oil contains a large amount of Omega 7, so it works as a regenerator of the skin and enhances its protective barrier.  Nourishing and moisturizing the skin and mucous membranes of the whole body, from the inside out, and thus not only remaining in the outer layers. Its benefits act both on healthy skin or those with conditions, such as dermatitis or psoriasis.

Important and to be taken into account; when we talk about hydration and nutrition, we refer not only to the skin of the face and body, but also to the oral, ocular, vaginal mucosa and so on. Taking sea buckthorn can help us to keep all those areas looked after and beautiful.
